Laura Office/Practice Manager

Laura has worked for Dr. Feigenbaum since August 2006.  Originally, she worked as an administrative assistant, covering front and back office tasks ranging from billing, insurance, scheduling, transcription, medical records, running clinic, etc.

In 2008, Laura obtained her Bachelor’s degree, and transitioned to Clinical Coordinator, taking on a more clinical role.  She would triage patient calls, call in prescriptions, schedule surgeries and outpatient procedures, pre-certifications, coordinate physician and patient calls, address patient issues with surgeon and RNFA, assist in processing physician correspondence, ensure surgeon’s licensure/board certifications were active, and coordinated the Tarlov Cyst outcomes research.

In 2012, she helped establish Dr. Feigenbaum’s solo practice in Dallas and took on an administrative role.  As an Office Manager, her responsibilities range from HIPAA compliance, OSHA, Human Resources, auditing, payroll, insurance, billing, appeals, marketing, IT, etc.; you name it, she does it.  Laura takes on the business and administrative side so that Dr. Feigenbaum can focus on practicing medicine.

She is passionate about patient satisfaction, finding ways to streamline processes and improve work flow issues, compliance, efficiency, and researching new technology to help the practice.
